Right-First-Time
Technical Solutions

Our engineering design service takes your requirements from initial concept through validated design to production-ready drawings and prototypes. Every project is delivered by experienced engineers who understand the demands of locomotive and industrial applications.

A Structured Path
from Brief to Build

Our five-stage design process eliminates ambiguity and ensures that every engineering decision is documented, validated, and agreed before resources are committed to manufacture.

01

Requirements Analysis

We begin by fully understanding your operational context, performance targets, environmental constraints, regulatory obligations, and any existing system interfaces. Nothing is assumed.

02

Concept Design

Our engineers develop two or three concept solutions, with preliminary calculations and feasibility analysis for each. You select the direction that best fits your constraints before we commit to detailed design.

03

Engineering Validation

Detailed CAD modelling, FEA stress analysis, thermal simulation, and circuit simulation are used to validate the design before any material is cut. Issues are caught in software, not on the shop floor.

04

Prototype & Testing

One or more physical prototypes are built and subjected to a defined test programme covering performance, environmental, life, and compatibility tests. Results are documented and reviewed with you.

05

Production Release

Approved designs are documented to full manufacturing release standard — drawings, BOMs, quality control plans, and acceptance test procedures — ready for series production in our facility or yours.

The Tools and Expertise
to Solve Complex Problems

Our design team combines mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering disciplines under one roof. This multi-disciplinary capability means we can take on the most integrated product challenges — from a complete power conversion module to a purpose-built sensing system.
