Bridge Rectifiers

Three-phase and single-phase bridge rectifiers converting traction alternator AC output to DC for traction motor supply. Manufactured with high-purity silicon diode stacks, optimised for the thermal cycling demands of diesel-electric duty.

Current ratings: 100A — 2,500A
PIV ratings up to 2,400V
ALCO DLW, EMD GT46, GE Evolution compatible

Fuel Pump Inverters

Variable-frequency inverter drives controlling locomotive fuel injection pump motors. Designed for reliable start-up in extreme ambient temperatures and long-duration duty cycles with minimal maintenance requirements.

Operating range: -20°C to +70°C
Input: 72V DC battery bus
Conformal-coated PCB assemblies

SCR Assemblies

Silicon-Controlled Rectifier assemblies for phase-controlled power regulation in traction and auxiliary circuits. Our SCR stacks are individually tested at full rated current before assembly and despatch.

AC/DC Converters

Auxiliary power conversion modules supplying regulated DC voltages for locomotive control electronics, lighting, and HVAC systems from the main traction alternator output.

Output: 12V, 24V, 72V, 110V DC
Efficiency: >92% at rated load
IP54 rated enclosures available

Excitation Diodes

High-reliability power diodes for alternator excitation and field regulator circuits. Manufactured using silicon mesa technology for superior forward voltage characteristics and long operational life under continuous load.
