GE Evolution Series

Indian Railways operates one of the largest railway networks on earth, with a diesel-electric locomotive fleet of several thousand units. The demands placed on components in Indian service are uniquely challenging: extreme ambient temperatures, high annual mileages, diverse track and loading conditions, and the need for parts to be available at depots across the length and breadth of the country.
Elixir Engineering has developed its product range in close dialogue with IR maintenance engineers — designing for the conditions actually encountered at Indian depots, not the idealised conditions of an OEM test specification. Our RDSO approvals confirm that our products meet the official standards of the Research Designs and Standards Organisation.
