Six Sensing & Control Families

Each product family addresses a critical monitoring or protection function. Our electronic systems are designed for direct plug-and-play replacement of OEM instruments on common locomotive platforms.

Hall-Effect Speed Sensors

Non-contact wheel speed and axle rotation sensors using Hall-effect technology for robust, maintenance-free operation in the high-vibration and contamination environment of the locomotive underframe. Output signal is compatible with standard locomotive speed recording and protection systems.

Pressure Transducers

Precision piezo-resistive pressure transducers for engine lube oil, fuel, air brake, and coolant systems. Designed for continuous operation in pulsating pressure environments with high EMI/RFI immunity to eliminate false readings near traction power equipment.

Ranges: 0–10 bar to 0–600 bar
Output: 4–20mA, 0–5V, 0–10V
±0.5% full-scale accuracy

Radar Level Sensors

FMCW radar-based fuel and water level measurement for locomotive tanks. Unlike float and ultrasonic systems, our radar sensors maintain accuracy regardless of tank sloshing, foam, vapour, or temperature variation — giving the driver reliable fuel range information at all times.

Measurement range: 0.3 — 10m
Accuracy: ±5mm

Driver Display Units

Sunlight-readable TFT LCD instrument panels for locomotive cab fitment, presenting real-time speed, engine parameters, fuel level, brake pipe pressure, and fault alerts in a clear, ergonomically designed interface. Ruggedised for the harsh vibration and thermal environment of locomotive cabs.

Engine Protection Devices

Integrated engine protection modules monitoring lube oil pressure, coolant temperature, crankcase pressure, and overspeed conditions — triggering automatic engine shutdown to prevent catastrophic damage in the event of a critical parameter exceedance.

SIL 2 Options Available

Temperature Sensors

PT100 RTD and NTC thermistor sensors for coolant, lube oil, exhaust gas, and motor winding temperature monitoring. Available in a wide range of process connections and cable assemblies for direct retrofit into existing locomotive wiring looms.
